I am a recently qualified Industrial Designer. Prior to my completion of the Transport and product design degree at Coventry University, I worked as a Graphic designer and then Web designer & HTML programmer. That allowed me to enhance my computer skills and be constantly aware of new technologies. I learned a huge amount about customer liasons, developing and interpreting people ideas and working as part of a design team. However I decided to return back to college, as I felt I wasn't capatalising on my talents.
As I found out going to Coventry University was more than drawing pictures, handing them in and hoping for decent grade. Design is all to do with communication, research and the endless cycle of refining and designing for humans. Ergonomics, user trials and presenting a design idea forward were all instrumental in helping me become a better designer. A good designer should be aware of problems for real life and consider possible solutions with a thought for costs, engineering, enviromental and asthetic aspects.
This site showcases my work in different fields of design. My condensed online portfolio is a summary of my 4 years at Coventry, which shows my drawing styles, techniques, model making abilities, rendering and improving Alias and Photoshop skills. My photography is something I used hand in hand with my studies, but shows my keen eye in the world around me. I also have a few examples of my old and recent websites I designed and coded, as well as examples of my self motivated drawings I do for both pleasure and business.
